Quite Peculiar

Hi, so the other night I had a dream, quite normal. In this dream I noticed that I had bought something that I knew I wouldn't buy, this is what made me question my reality. So in the dream, I held my nose to see if I was dreaming, I also tried pushing my finger through my palm. Both of these reality checks worked as they would in real life, I COULDN'T breathe through my plugged nose and I COULDN'T push my finger through my palm. I was looking through my mirror while doing both of these checks and my body was quite out of proportion, however, I didn't take any notice of this in my dream. So In my dream, I thought I was awake due to the way my reality checks panned out so I continued on with the dream. So what the hell went on there? How come BOTH of the reality checks let me down?

It happens sometimes. One thing that could cause it is if you are not fully concentrating on the RCs when you do them, both in the dream and in real life. As you do a reality check, don't just quickly do it and then forget about it, really think "I could be in a dream right now."

Ah OK. It's good to know that it is a solvable problem, and your right Anthonyyy0, I don't think I'm giving my FULL attention to my daily reality checks, I shall strive to do so from now on. Well if that's all it is, I guess i'm done for now. Thanks for your help.

No problem. It's a common mistake, and it happens to me sometimes when I get really lazy.
