Abstract Reality Check Mantra

I am aware that the traditional way to preform a reality check is to really question if you are dreaming or not with an intense curiosity, preform some sort of physical action to test this, and then say a mantra such as "I am dreaming" or what ever it may be. For the next few weeks i am going to attempt a mantra that is not as direct as the one listed above,but instead something that has a lot of person value to me in my waking life, and possibly my dream life. The phrase I am going to use is "I am a creator"

In my waking life this phrase tells me that i have the ability to create a beautiful day for myself or a nightmarish day formyself. This means that no matter what happens around me, i have the ability to react in a calm cool and collected manner, and i can then choose to "Create" a positive attitude for myself watever the case me be.

In my dream I HOPE that this phrase will take on a parallel meaning. Instead of only having the ability to react to the external events occuring around me, i want to realize that i now have a part in dictating the enviorment around me. This is especially important to me as i know that when those intense and scary lucid dreams occur i will be better able to face those damn demions.

I will test this mantra until March 1st, and at that point i will give you my results. My dailey plan is to say this mantra at least 10 or more times a day, each time reflecting aabout what i am saying in this mantra statment. I predict that i will build my dream awarness and also waking day awarness with this goal. however the results maybe, i thought i might share it with everyone, and get some of your inpput :)

I actually had a similair thought today, instead of looking at my hands (which doesn't seem to be working well for me lately) just try to morph or rearrange my enviroment by intention. Soon as things start jumping about in front of my eyes I realise i'm lucid, hands.. not so much.

Just make sure you aren't over thinking it, the idea is to get the message to carry over into the dream, the message usually doesn't carry meaning when you remember thinking about it :D

Most common styles are to odd forme, i feel i have to personlise checks to make myself remember, i also try to change the world while i'm awake but im still unexperienced so i'm not sure its doing alot!

well so much for my results, in all hoesty i didnt stay disciplined to goal so my results were nill. will have to try again. i agree with what call me skar nonethless
