It's so hard to choose one... =/ Hmm...
Probably when I used Mjolnir, a crazy souped-up hammer. I'm not sure if that qualifies as "superpowers" or not, but hey.
The thing I still want to do is run down a glass building, stomp into the glass on the way down and break it, then land on the ground with the glass raining down on me. I'm imagining gravity, wind and lots of impact power.
I haven't reached lucidity yet, but the first thing I'll do is go back in time and stop JKF's and Lincoln's assassinations, in that order. Or maybe fly, freak out, and wake up.
Stole a motor boat, rode it through an indoor(huge tent) bay, over a ramp and all the other boats, tore through the tent, and then went over a waterfall in it.
I wasn't lucid(cause I've only been lucid 6 times to date,) but it was pretty sweet. My dream didn't make it to the bottom of the fall, because I got excited.
Thanks for the quick replies! Puffin, for some reason that sounds really appealing to me ;3
I'm going to fly to an extremely tall tree, and jump off, free falling down, landing down on one knee (like you would when worshiping a god) and one knee (Like you would when old people get up.)
As the ground surges up around me, and falls back into place!
I'm excited already, thanks! :)
Chrispizza, I think I'll go on a sniper mission and assasinate a bad guy! :D
Haha yuppie whatever rocks your boat I guess I'd recommend a video game character for your plans ;)
Ha, probs my favourite thing was when I was in a non-lucid (or lucid actually, can't really remember) and I was one of the assassins from Assassins' Creed in the Ezio time period. I might've been Ezio himself, I'm not sure. I stalked this carriage from a very high rooftop and then kept on (very annoyingly for the guards and the person herself, probably) sneaking into the princess' private chambers, you don't wanna know what I did in there.
But that wasn't the only reason I absolutely LOVED this dream: it was mainly because the colours of Renaissance Rome in that dream were so ultra vivid and I really felt like a badass assassin, and the fact that it was non-lucid must have added to the authenticity of the experience. Awesome dream overall, even if I do say so myself ;)
Awww that sucks (for me) since I can't or haven't dreamt in colour :(
And it double sucks because I love the AC games :'(
I always love shapeshifting into an animal. It feels really cool to change your body and your point of view. If you really pay attention, you can feel the different parts of your new body. Run on four legs, flap your wings, or whip your tentacles around. It is cool because it changes who you are, not just how you are interacting with the world.
Well, my favorite things I've done in non-lucids were exploring secret passages in a castle, fighting evil dragons with a sword, and turning into a dragon and biting a guy's head off (don't worry, he was evil, he kidnapped the princess). For lucid dreams, maybe the time I messed with making my environment bigger, kind of like that scene in Alice in Wonderland. Messing with gravity (changing its magnitude or direction) is also fun; I really ought to remember to try that more often.
I never LDed correctly but what came to my mind for your question would be making impossible spaces (like a bag with a room inside) and portal-like things.
Also, changing into strange beasts is an interesting thing to consider, I was once some kind of a omnipotent intergalactic life form in an ND.
Great stuff guys, keep it going ;O
I loved the shape shifting one! -Adds to list- I think I'll turn into a wolf :D
Can you roughly?
Feeling presences, plotting some non-visual map in your head that allow you to see through walls.
Well, fighting is my fav. Now for more simple things, being a planet was fun.
I know, doesn't sound to crazy or anything but my favorite thing I've done is eaten food, considering i only did it once in a dream. It was so delicious lol, maybe just because it was a first time exp.
These things may not be to exciting sounding, but help to bring deeper aspects to your dreams. Basically it is training rather than playing, but I train alot, and enjoy it.
1) Find or make a body of water. Now stablize your dream and get very aware of your dream body. Then touch the water. What you are looking for is to feel the coolness or warmth, and the wetness on only part of your body, like it would be in waking life. Maybe wade waste deep in a stream with a mild current. It is more difficult than you may think. Water and coolness flowing by, but dry on top. I love flying over water but letting my feet drag along the surface. The big point is not to just picture it, but honestly feel the contrast.
2)Same idea, but try running your hand over a dripping icecycle. Feel the wet and cold, and slick feel of it, but only on the palm of the hand.
3)Try using your voice. In most dreams, you kind of think the sounds. If you stop and pay attention, the dreams are pretty quiet. You know the cars are noisy, but are you really experiencing the sound? Try something like chanting OMMM or yelling something.
I don't think it was an LD (might have been semi-lucid, like I was aware I was dreaming but not in control, only watching like some kind of movie), but in one dream I flew an F-22 Raptor. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's an extremely awesome fighter jet in the US air force. I don't think the physics were too realistic in this dream, but it was sweet nonetheless. Had it about a year ago and it was so memorable I didn't even need to write it down to remember it.
Dude nice!
One of the things I have done is help a dragon that was chained up get free, by raiding a dungeon and giving him the key several nights later.
