First result :D
Hey guys,
just happy that last night I finally started seeing some results :)
I used to practice really hard a couple of years ago, then I just stopped and now I'm starting again. I have been using a mixture techniques in the last month (I do RCs during the day, I try to focus on lucid dreams just before going to sleep, and I have an alarm set at 5:30 for a WBTB), and finally yesterday I *almost* made it.
I dreamt I was coming back home. I live in an apartment, and when I was going to the elevators, another door opened. But it wasn't my neighbours coming out, it was an old friend of mine that died 2 years ago. I said hello and passed by, then realized something was off. Here I had a strange feeling, however I turned around. My friend was now levitating and had an evil look on his face: here I got really scared and realized I was dreaming. Unfortunately, this woke me up, but well, it was a first result nontheless. :)
About the strange feeling: it was a weird sensation of dejavu. Has this ever happened to anyone? It's like if I was "lagging" on my dream, as if I'm experiencing events that happened some seconds ago. Like if the near future of my dream is being made up as I go and I lag some seconds behind it. (Sorry if this is not clear, english is not my first language)
Every time I got lucid or close to it, I had this sensation: that's because when I'm about to become lucid, I realize I already know what's going to happen because I can vaguely remember things that haven't happened yet...
Anyone?
Going to bed now, wish me luck ;)

Its the experience of you becoming lucid :) and you forget that your dreams are solely created by your own mind. So in a way your mind DOES know whats about to happen before it does in a dream because it has to before it can create that event. I believe that is what you are experiencing :)

I find that combining several techniques is best if you want to achieve lucidity. Raise your awareness to increase lucidity overall and spot those Dream Signs and get a feel for when you're dreaming, repeat mantras before going to bed to let it be the last thing on your mind before falling asleep, aswell as intentions to really want to experience all that awesome stuff you've already experienced :) You'll probably see improvement fast as you know you're capable of it all and can long for it. Good luck!
