Why can't I have a second lucid :(
I had my first ld 2 weeks ago and haven't had one since. Can anyone recommend me and easy technique? don't want to try WILD..I'm on easter holidays soon so I can have more sleep and will be able to write down my dreams without rushing and wating untill the afternoon. Hopefully that will help.
This is known to happen quite often from what I have seen around the forums and other LD sources. My best advice would be to just keep thinking about lucid dreaming and make sure the motivation to do it stays. Don't despair, it's completely normal, even later on with lots more experience :) Look at it from the other side - many people don't have their first one for many month, you had yours much sooner, right? So you are good at LDing. Believe that, and they will come :DQuote:

4. Remember how happy you were when you got your first lucid. Recall that heppiness everytime you think about your next one. Your mind will associate LDing with you being happy and will help you be happy again. Read up as much as you can about LDing. Make a plan what you'll do in a lucid and write it down. Daydream about it and as you falling asleep. Your mantra should be last thought before you fall asleep.

Gab's, In the holidays I will be able to right down my dreams as soon as I get up, just downloaded an app on my iphone which lets me write down my dreams, and can even password lock your dreams so no one else can read them, so I will be able to write down my dreams straight away, this will especially be helpful when I wake up in the middle of the night, many times I'd remember my dreams and be too lazy to jot them down. I have been trying the Sporadic awareness recently, but never take them seriously as I always think similiar things to what you put. Which was probably the problem, this time I will take it seriously. And yes, number 4 should help me keep my motivation up. :)
