I really don't know, but I know exactly what you mean. Other people have said that I talk a lot in my sleep, and I fear that this will be a handicap forcing me to be mute in my Lucid Dreams or something. I would also like an answer to this question. |

I am reading about dream stabilization, and one thing is standing out and worrying me a bit. Verbal commands are supposed to be very effective at stabilizing dreams and for control, but I am worried: I have woke myself up before by talking in my sleep in non-lucid dreams (not often, but i have). If i tried shouting something, is it possible i would also accidentally shout it out loud with my real body and wake myself up (not to mention my nearby sleeping family members)? Or is it unlikely? |

Reality Check Now.
Yeah its possible you will also talk in waking, but if its all that bothersome just whisper instead of shout, its still a verbal command. And really people could use dream powers to talk through telepathy if they don't want to use words. |

Doesn't sleep paralysis prevent sleep talking? |

Not for everyone, and the OP said he has woken himself while talking in sleep, meaning that for him its very probable. |
