New Theory (Not really a "theory" :D)

Well I "think" this is a new theory, as I haven't been able to find it upon the internet, but here it goes anyways.
Sometimes in real life you think about a dream you've had, I don't know about you guys, but every time I even think of a dream, I always do a reality check. So do you think it's possible to actually think of a dream while you're in a dream then do a RC and slip into a lucid dream that way? Has anyone here done that? Just wondering, because that would be awesome. for lack of a better word :D
