Experience (which is subjective) makes a person WISER, not necessarily wise...

Interesting, but dont you think asking the question "How would you know?" relates to reality as well? If you've forgotten the last year how do you know it has happened? You yourself could be trapped in the movie scenario theory. I would agree that normal dreams play out like a movie, however if your lucid then its just like reality. (In my opinion) The reason you know your life's not a movie is that your conscious of the actions you just took. In your case you also have a "temporary" memory of the occurrence, even if you dont remember it a year from now you will a minute. On note: You can fall asleep in a dream, it can give way to dreams within dreams.

Does anyone else ever wonder what happens to all the unremembered dreams we have during a night. There would be soo many. If we can get hypnotised and remember stuff that we dont remember is there any possible way to get a glimpse into all our unremembered dreams? Maybe well have to wait for the future but it would be interesting.

People have been dreaming since the start of time. Animals dream too. hasnt anyone stopped to think WHY we have them and is there anything more to them than just having something to do while we are sleeping? ponder that one. :shock:

Yes he can.
And to answer your question, yes you can alter time in your dreams. It is very easy to do, but sometimes I just would rather go through it quickly so I can come back on here sooner, except if it is a Sunday, & I usually make it last 24 hours (I bet it could last longer, but I don't really want it to last TOO long!).
And come to think of it, I went through my 6th grade year in one of my usual gazing ______. I don't do this too often, though, b/c I like the time the way it is! :wink:

Robert Monroe claims that he has been 100 years in two-hour OBE. I'm pretty sceptical, but it would be cool to stop time in LD, maybe for two days would be cool.
Here is some text about stopping time in lucid dream. (Go to 2.23. 'How can I stop real time in my Lucid Dreams?')

I think 100 years would be too long, month would be longest time I'd like to be in dream maybe. Imagine, that every night you would see a 100 year long LD, it wouldn't be funny at all. :)
And you must have very good dream recall to remember all of the dream. :D
