Post your most painful lucid dreams here :)
I've not had any painful ones really... although the other week I got lucid and decided it would be cool to jump off this roof. Well, you know when you go down a steep drop and you lose your stomach? I absolutely hate that. That happened but around 10x worse than it usually is. Woke me right up.
Crashed down on my head loads of times. Once I held out my arms as I was falling and they hurt a bit after. Since I'm lucid I decide not to feel pain. Non lucids however can be quite unpleasant at times. Thank god they're rare though.
Yeah true :P
Can't say I've had many painful Lucids. Maybe a pinch feeling now and then, but nothing else.
Most of the pain I feel in dreams, come from non lucid nightmares. Especially as a child!
Not really happened to me, because as soon as my lucids become even remotely nightmare-ish I can either stop it or wake myself up. So I don't think I've felt pain.
But I have had some painful moments in non-lucids before, when I was too slow to wake myself up from nightmares.
Interesting :)
Not sure how painful it was, but I was once tasered in a dream. I woke up in bed, flailing my limbs around.
That sounds creepy haha :P
Well... i usually feel no pain in my lucid if i don't want to.... but i had a painful experience once.
I just got lucid in a market and was thinking about what to do, when suddenly i've seen a scene popping in multiple times in front of me. I was on my old bed in this scene and a little fully bald bird-like creature was crawling towards me on the bed in the darkness. I felt an unimaginably huge pain while that thing was coming towards me... like it was mentally torturing me or something... Once it got closer to me this "vision" stopped, so it couldn't get to me after all... but while crawling towards me it was just horrible what i felt... :/
It might not sound so bad written like this... but trust me, you don't want to feel that :S
A fox was boxing with me, because I had distracted it from killing a chicken in my driveway :p It's not really pain, but that feeling you get when someone knocks the wind out of ya.
Every time I try to summon fire, I actually start burning up. Last night I was trying to summon a fire blast to torch these guys running in on me playing a holographic video game on the floor of an abandoned warehouse (long story). I ended up immobile from the whole, burning alive thing, and I had to abort the dream before the thugs got to me.
This afternoon's nap otter qualify,
I decided to try a nap anyway on an upset stomach knowing full well it wouldnt work, I sent a 2 word mindset spinning around in my brain of what I wanted in my dream lucid or not and then rolled over and tried in vain to nod off. I'm not going to say what I wished for in my dream first because I'm not a pig and secondly because the moderators would likely give me the boot but if it was a Prime Rib Dinner the outcome would have been the same, Within 5 minutes or so it seemed of closing my eyes I landed face first in several of what I wanted but thinking it was just those behind the eyelid's things the WILD bunch see I brushed it aside and decided enough of this nonsense and woke up, :( I looked at my clock and it was all dufus but by now the dream was gone ?
Now I will repeat the repeat, "The Fool Woke UP",
Ohey there luna! :D
My most painful lucid experience so far was my 4th or 5th lucid. It was very vivid and I wanted to try regenerating injuries. At first I pounded my left arm with a hammer, which felt a bit painful. I easily regenerated the wounds and swelling.
But then I decided to try to let my legs get run over by a car (which I summoned). When it ran over my legs, I could see my bones breaking and protruding from my calves. It was very painful too -- a very heavy pressure and agonizing feeling like a fresh wound being poked. I woke up soon thereafter.

I fell from the sky after I learned how to fly and slammed into the ground. I landed on my hands and knees.
I've had a few properly painful situations, mainly during lucid dream battles.
Pain behaves very situation-specific in my dreams.
For example in non-lucid dreams, pain is always very dull and feels more like pressure.
It doesn't really hurt at all.
In lucids it can hurt depending on the situation, battles (mostly sword fights) being one of them.
But it's still different compared to pain in waking life, though I'm not really sure how to describe the difference.
The pain is there, it can be just as intense, but the feeling itself is somewhat different.
And for some reason I can enjoy it to a certain degree in dreams...
I don't know which of my experiences I would classify as the most painful though.
I once were in a lucid dream, and I was going to do the hand-trough-hand reality check; I could feel my bones, nerves, and everything else getting touched. It was a really painful experience, now I'm using the nose plug technique, LOL!
Lol. Nice.
I feel similarly. Except my reason for enjoying it in dreaming is because it makes things feel more real, and it also makes me feel more alive. Now that I'm thinking about it, pain in waking life makes things feel more dull. Huh. Funny it works that way.
Why do you enjoy it?
Yeah, it's definitely all about making things feel real.
When fighting other beings in dreams, there's always the thought in the back of your head that this is a dream.
Once someone hurts you this completely changes.
It makes you afraid, but also excited.
It's a weird mix of feelings really, but it definitely gets my adrenaline going.
And winning against an opponent that can actually hurt (kill) you is just so rewarding.
In a lucid dream- I decided that one of the things I was going to try was going through walls. I was in a mall and a skated into a Chinese restaurant. They had one of those temporary/moveable/foldy walls and I put my arm through but it hurt to. Like my arm was being crushed or something.
I wouldn't say this one was painful but it felt like maybe it should have been; I had had heart surgery in my dream and after the operation I felt airy inside. All in the dream. very disconcerting when I woke up.

I didn't think you could experience such realistic pain in dreams before, lucid or not. Recently, I started back up on melatonin. My dreams this week have been outright painful.
One lucid dream dropped me right away into getting beat up by some guy, kicked, stomped, etc. Very intense. I ended up just curled on my side, taking it.
Another dream, I burned my fingers away with acid. The fiery stinging sensation was incredible.
My most recent dream, I accidentally got sliced with glass. Felt very real, too. Not as bad as getting your butt kicked, for sure.
i was shut by a gun,fell from a clif,fell from a very high buliding,involved in a car accidant,a meteor hit me,killed by many monsters,lost my arm,lost my head!!!!!,eaten by a dragon,beaten up by some gangesters...i can go on forever
but i never felt pain, not even a little :cheeky:
No real pain in any dreams, especially since I'm usually absolutely invincible within my dreams, like my skin is made from adamantium. Sometimes when I fall from somewhere I have a numb feeling of the impact, and maybe I even notice something cracking, but then that's always the concrete suffering from me smashing a hole into it :P
I recently however had a non-lucid where I fell a good 30-40m down and I even felt a little stinging pain, I was kind of wondering how this impact didn't do any damage but unfortunately didn't become lucid.
I had a lucid on saturday, I changed the dreamscape and I opened my eyes. But they were sealed shut and it hurt to open them.
