Exactly how do you mean? If getting lucid was easy and you achieved it everytime you tried it then half the world's population would be doing it. There are nights or even weeks sometimes you don't get lucid at all. Just keep on trying!

You probably didn't do anything wrong. The ability to lucid dream isn't exactly a switch that you turn on. If you're using DILD/MILD, then it might take time for you to have them regularly. Try to be patient, and you'll have more of them. Just keep doing what you did last night. Make sure you remain motivated and confident. Common mistakes that prevent people from becoming lucid.

It's good to want to have lucid dreams in the short term, but try to focus on improving your skills in the long-run too.

Everytime you think about lucid dreaming is a success. Atleast, iff you're doing DILD or MILD. You will grow aware of the differences between reality and dreams, by just thinking about it and looking at your enviroment for anything weird. You can't fail it. If your doing WILD, then I'm not the guy to talk to.

It can take some time to get lucid! Just keep following all the steps and stay dedicated. It's great you already had one lucid.. but don't expect to get lucid every night when you are first starting out. Most people it takes around one month to get their first lucid and they start to have more after that. Don't be disappointed! Good luck getting your second lucid
