Just an idea
My 10 year old brother is an amazing lucid dreamer, and surprisingly he has a few strategies that work for him.
When he becomes lucid (usually through DILD), he puts a message in DC's minds/tells all the DC's around him that he is dreaming. And then he asks them to remind him of this fact if he loses lucidity. He says that this message from his DC's only triggers once he loses lucidity/forgets he is dreaming. I think this would be very interesting theory to test ^^

Ken Wilber suggests a similar strategy that can be used to extend moments of enlightenment / all day awareness; if you learn to notice when you are not fully aware anymore, you can quickly regain it. So instead of finding ways to become more aware, you simply look out for moments when you slip out of awareness...

Wow that sounds pretty interesting. It may be easier than focussing on being aware 100% of the time. Instead you only have to focus on when you are not aware.

That is very clever indeed
