Question
I took a nap yesterday, I think woke unable to move, but during that moment it never dawned upon me that I was actually in sleep paralysis and could enter a lucid dream from there. I felt confused and wasnt really thinking much. I couldn't see anything either. Was this a sleep paralysis experience, and has anyone else have something similar happen

If you couldn't move then it was likely sleep paralysis. How long did you stay in this state? You normally start experiencing HH and various changes in your body shortly after entering SP so if you were in it for only a little bit then that's likely why nothing really happened. If you were in it for longer than that then I'm not really sure what to think. Whether you know what's going on or not something should start to happen after you've been in SP a while unless you're at the perfect amount of consciousness where you neither fall asleep nor prevent the exiting of SP.

It lasted for maybe 15-30 seconds then I fell back asleep.

Now that I read your first post over a couple times it sounds like you awoke from a dream/sleep and found yourself in that state, correct? If so then there is a good possibility that this was SP and you were just unaware that this meant you could've probably DEILDed/WILDed depending on the circumstances.

It definitely sounds like SP.
SP doesn't always bring hallucinations though, so don't be confused by that. Mostly it does, but sometimes it doesn't.
I had over 50 SPs so far and there was like 5-7 of them that had no hallucination at all.

What Zoe said. I frequent SP when inducing WILDs but never encounter HI or HH at all.
