When was the first time you began lucid and how did you react when you found out you were in a dream>?

First time was 14 years ago. I remember thinking something like, "Oh cool, I am dreaming!"

At the time, I didn't even know there was a name for it :)

that's a hard one to remember...first time i think was the time i found myself running down a corridor, and no matter how hard i tried, the corridor kept getting longer, meaning i never got to the end.
Somehow, in the dream, i pulled myself up short and said, 'don't be silly, corridors don't get longer, you are dreaming. Calm down!' and after that, i was able to run to the end of the corridor!
I didn't know what it was at the time...it was soon after that i began keeping a DJ...

i didnt know what was lucid either, i was like "am i dreaming?" i slapped myself few times.

i think i saw a house full of vines and it was dark , was in a car.

so i slapped myself in the car front seat while my cousin drove the car.
