Computer knowledge needed.
I've been away for a long, long time. My attempts to have lucid dreams stopped about the same time I stopped coming to the site, which must have been years ago. And I'd like to get back into it. Problem is, keeping a textual journal never worked for me. I'd like to use my new laptop, but waking it up from Hibernate every time is too slow.
So I was wondering: Is it practical to put my laptop to sleep as a long-term alternative to shutting it down or putting it in Hibernate? For instance, say I'm done with a night's browsing, when I go to turn it off is it alright to put it in Sleep with the intention of quickly waking it up in the morning to write in a dream journal? Would it be possible to do this every night, or would it have serious implications over time?
