I drink 2 glasses of apple juice before I go to bed, it makes my dreams more vivid. And I listen 10 minutes to binaural beats to help me relax. So far I only had 1 Lucid dream though. :)
When I practice WILD, I always take 2 pain killers with me, a glass of water and a sleep mask.
The pain killers are for my teeth, they really hurt at the moment. I set my alarm for 4-5am and take some pain killers to stop the pain.
The water is to prevent me from swallowing when in relaxation.
The sleep mask is there if it is too bright outiside, although I usually don't use it.
As for DILD, I would take 3 small slices of cheese with me and a glass of apple juice. Sometimes a banana in the evening. All three products combined are quite effective with recall and vividness, although it's hard to tell if it's a fact that they work.
I have a banana & some cheese before bed. I've not had an LD yet but they do seem to make the dreams more vivd & easier to remember....

Focus on becoming lucid in a dream that I liked or in a moment of the day that would have been fun to become lucid just before dozing off! It's mild and it will really help u
I gotta drink more apple juice e_e... But usually I just listen to Binaural Beats... ...Helps quite a lot actually :D

I think I try too hard sometimes. Both LDs I've had so far were the result of taking a night off from trying to induce one. They also both happened when I drifted back to sleep after waking up in the morning...
I always read a chapter or two of a book, it helps me relax so I can sleep easier. No sleep, no dreams, aha.
Oh, and before lying down to sleep, I always imagine myself being Lucid in a dream, and all the things I could do.
I take Halls candies which increase vividness and recall. I also listen to Subliminal Lucid 3.0 which helps my recall loads. Then on special occasions, I will listen to binaural beats to help me sleep :P
I tell myself I am going to have a lucid dream tonight, and I usually have vivid dreams or lucid dreams.
I read about lucid dreaming before I sleep. I also take 100mg of B6 just before sleeping, and write the date / time in my dream journal.
Bananas :) definitely help dream recall. And when you guys drink water, is that just so you get up in the middle of the night?
