      Lucid Dreaming Tonight

Okay, I've never had a lucid dream before, but I have pretty good recall. What's the best way for me to have a lucid dream tonight?

Go to bed early. Set an alarm to go off after 4 and a half hours of sleep. Get up, do a reality check and stay awake for a while. Then go back to bed and have a lucid dream.

The most commonly working technique I've read for inducing a lucid dream is WBTB - Wake back to Bed.

The question itself is quite broad, as there are so many ways you can quickly have a lucid dream. The reason I mention the WBTB method though is because you want to lucid dream tonight and I commonly read that this technique is powerful enough to do so that quickly without that much persistence. This post should have automatically made a link above to the Wiki page in which you can read up on what it is and follow the other link which details how to do it.

Edit: By the way, I was still typing up this post when IAmCoder posted his, so I'm not just saying this because he said it.

There are so many ways, it's easier for you to scan the existing threads and see which method you think would work for you, then try it. Have you read the tutorials on here too?

      Ooh, their breath is warm
      And they smell like sleep
And they say they take me home
      Like poppies heavy with seed
They take me deeper and deeper
