Personally, I prefer to hand-write my dreams. For one thing, I consider my notebook much easier to access and I think that it would just gake to long to get my laptop out and type my dreams on it in the morning.
I've never had any problems with my handwriting. My handwriting isn't even that good.
Recently, I started to draw fast rough sketches of the hole sequence of the dream in the first place (I don't need them to be too accurate because of they are just anchors for what I want to say-just some lines could cover a lot of details). I found it more practical than writing although I could add keywords to make it more understandable. I have the possibility to see the sequence of the dream and find forgotten details, hidden relations, etc.
I hand write mine, or sometimes use a voice recorder if i don't want to fully wake up. And then I later enter them into my online dream journal so I can track symbols etc.
