      How realistically do DC's behave?

Hellloooo! This is a question to the dreamers here who have interacted with their dream character's enough to compare their behavior to people you meet in real life. I just read one of ZeraCook's journal entries and It was beautifully written. I felt like I was reading a novel I couldn't put down and I could see the scenes happening right in front of me. Here's an excerpt from it:

"I wake up. the girl from earlier is holding me and we are in the back of a car. I look around and Doug and Chuck are up front, Doug Driving, and we are pulling into my aunties house. they walk in but we stay in the car. I turn to the girl and she is really beautiful. She is staring at me and we start to talk.

"You know this is my dream and your inside my head right" I say

"What do you mean" she asks

"Well you have had dreams before when you sleep right?" I ask her,

"Of Course everyone does," she says

"Well I'm really sleeping right now and this is my dream" I say to her

She starts to freak out and cry and I give her a hug and tell her its alright.

"You basically just told me that everything I have thought till now was a lie, and that once you wake up I'll die and your life will go on." She sobs to me.

"Its ok, You won't die, because really you are a part of me. Your special to me, a piece in a way."

"But After this I'll never be able to do anything again."

"Not true," I tell her "Who really knows what dreams are, maybe you stay active the whole Time I'm awake. No one really does know"

"Well next time you dream will you find me" she asks

"Sure I reply, but I might not unless I get lucid first. But If you show up then You can help me get lucid and realise I'm dreaming." I say

"What do you mean?:" She asks

I then go on and explain to her what Lucid dreaming is and how once I realise I'm dreaming I can do anything and control everything and we start to walk inside. When I'm finished she asks if I can heal her then, I say yeah of course, and we walk inside..."

And reading this made me wonder (since I've never experienced a LD for myself as of yet) if you really are able to interact with your dream characters in this way, as if they really are there and exist. And do they act this way because of what you expect? Or are they completely independent of your expectations and thoughts? I want to find out for myself soon hopefully enough...

ZeraCook I really enjoyed reading it and sorry to hear about that last bit, "The phone Rings. I swear my mom wakes me every time I have a Lucid."

Sounds like more than just a DC.

I had a long and interesting conversation with "Lucifer" once, by the time I didn't know about Lucid Dreams and all that stuff (I just knew it was a dream and I experimented with that) all I can remember is that he looked like a pretty handsome catholic priest and we were talking under the water, at the bottom of a pool which had sits as it was a kind of church. I think I asked him about his appearance and all this church-like stuff around. I know I was amazed with the answers he gave me because of I was thinking about them some days after I had that dream. Now I cannot remember just a single word of such conversation. Then, after joining DV's and learning more about LD's, a couple of times I wanted to interact more with some random DC's, but they acted like I was a stranger in a strange land. When they represented some person I knew, it was funny to see them shocked when I told them it was a dream. If they represented a beautiful woman, I wasn't able to control myself to speak with her. Children and dogs, used to be a pain in the ass. Nowadays, most of the times I just let them go or command them to stay away if they get uncomfortable close.
