easy path to SP/WILD with Ringing sound in the ear, Tinnitus.

      Hey all

for a long time iv had Tinnitus, which is the constant (whislling/ringging) sound in your hear, where the more relaxed you are the louder it becomes and the busier your mind is you barely hear it.

Now i never used to pay attention to it until not long ago, it led me to SP and eventually WILD. So i realised all i had to do to reach SP was to keep my attention on the sound and it will lead me to SP where then i can choose to do OBE or WILD, so instead of an illness its actually seems more of a gift.

now once i did it and the ringing got very loud and intense and all i saw was two bright lines under my eye lid connecting in a collision with sound effects while i was in SP, and it felt like my Pineal Gland was activated or glowing and all of a sudden i felt thise sudden rush of subtle/calming energy rush through all over my body, and it was the most amazing feeling i had ever felt, but i dont know how it happened as it was first time. Even if you take the best quality drug and having sex with the most beautiful woman in the world it still doesnt come close, it was unlike anything i had exprienced. The sound slowly increases in volume and it almost feels like there is some sort of threshold and after little while it almost feels like somehting is activated, because you start hearing music in the background, or family conversations and all sorts of other things.Does anyone know what im talking about?

So i attempted this again this morning, and i got tot he point when my body was completly sleep, but i was waiting for the activation of pineal gland witht he awsome feeling, but it just wasnt comming and i could just ehar the loud sound in my year, doese anyone know what your supposed to do at that point?

anyway i gave up and went for a OBE i could control the movement of my arms and body with my thoughts and i half went out of my body while my eyes were closed as i could fully feel my body parts moving up and down even though i was liying on my hand and then for some reasone i stopped and went into a WILD.

but what im really after is the pineal gland activation, im sure iv read some people here talk about it

so if you know what im talking about please give some advice, thanks

      Hello Mrsfoo11!

It's good to hear that you are using your Tinnitus condition to your advantage. It can be very very useful if you decide to pursue WILD as your main induction technique.

That "wave" of euphoric feeling is also a common thing I hear about people who get to SP. I myself have experienced this said "wave", and it is indeed a glorious feeling! From what I've read, that is most probably just the transition of your body from waking to sleeping, and you notice it because your mind is awake and aware.

As for the noise while you are in SP, it is only normal. They are most probably auditory hallucinations. I often get these too, in fact, when I am in SP, most of my hallucinations are auditory. Sometimes a voice would whisper in my ear, and sometimes I would hear noises as if I were in a crowded restaurant.

I am not sure what you mean about the activation of the pineal gland, as I have not read up on it yet. I did find this article in my search, you can check it out if you want. http://www.dreamviews.com/f77/pineal-gland-130521/

Best of luck to you, and happy dreaming

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

      thanks for the link

i dont think if it was that iv done a WILD before where from awake i have literaly jumped into a dream, there was no such sensation.

im curtain it was my Pineal Gland activation, if you exprienced the same then it was that. after the ringing in the ear, It sounds like a power plant shutting off (hallucination audiotary) and bright light appears, and feels like time stops, your whole body and mind is at its maximum pleasure point, very relaxed and the whole body rushing with "dopamine". At the same time you get the hallucinations of SP, your pretty much in SP but the whole pineal gland is the key part. Absoloutly amazing feeling

I, too, have had tinnitus for a long time. My tinnitus is in both ears at two different frequencies. besides causing insomnia, tinnitus also helps with lucid dreams (If you can get to sleep) by raising awareness of the physical self. The lines and sounds you felt were hypnagogic images/sounds so you were in Theta brainwave state at that point and were, in a sense, hypnotized and about to fall asleep. I would suggest visualization to anyone with tinnitus who wants to sleep/dream or even leave their body.

yes i agree with what you say

i dont have any sleeping problems at all, and i regulary use it now for SP/WILD/OBE etc

what i want to know is how to reach that point were Hynagogic hallucinations kick in after (i can only describe as pineal gland activation) where you see the 2 frequencies from both sides connect and make strange sound, and it feels like time stops, and your just in state of absolout 100% pleasure with dopamine rushing through your body.

it happened once and hasnt happened since.

I would study the processes of brainwave succession into sleep / dreams rather then pineal gland serotonin secretions. Unless, of course, you are referring to René Descartes philosophy that the pineal gland is the doorway to the soul. This is an esoteric subject that I know a little about but too little to be of help. Here is a journal entry of mine about brainwaves and sleep : The Mechanics of Falling Asleep
