Okay guys, I'm looking for a book that goes into exploring lucid dreaming but I don't want a very spiritual book. I'm not even sure which books are around but I'd like to have one along the lines of dream yoga but without much references to any particular religion. I doubt this exists but it would be great if it did. Any one know??

I can highly recommend this too. The book is written by Stephen LaBerge as already mentioned, who is a well known researcher in dreams and especially lucid dreams. He was the one which made some of the first scientific evidence of lucid dreaming by making lucid dreamers do pre-defined patterns of eye movement within their dreams, which could then be read on a polygrapher.Quote:

The book contains great discussions on dreams in general, as well as in-depth coverage of the different dreaming inducing techniques, and how you most effectively can start having lucid dreams from the very beginning.
The book is objective, there is no religion or other pseudoscience nonsense involved. It is a great read :)

I'm not far into it (I'm really not much into reading) but it claims to provide an introduction to lucid dreaming and dream yoga, as well as how the two connect and ways to improve both.
All I've read are the lucid dreaming introductions, which have been pretty basic (nothing you can't learn here), but I'm yet to start on the dream yoga bits - mainly because I haven't quite gotten the hang of inducing lucidity yet.
