Welcome to the Dreamviews Podcast episode Two.
OpheliaBlue:
Where each week we’ll be covering any and everything revolving around the world of Lucid Dreaming.
Rarecola:
We are your Host’s Rarecola
OpheliaBlue:
And OpheliaBlue.
Rarecola:
This week we will be talking about the Dreamview Academy as well as going more in-depth with the Into class that Myself and Lisa host, along with the other apprentices. So I’ll pass it over to Lisa and she can give an introduction on Dreamview Academy.
(00:30)
Lisa:
The Dreamviews Academy is a section of the forum devoted to teaching the basics concepts of Lucid Dreaming to its members. There are several courses going on at the moment and anyone can sign-up for them. Each class has an instructor or instructors who guide the students through lessons, workbooks and in some cases live IRC chat sessions.
Rarecola and I currently teach the Intro to Lucid Dreaming for Beginners with the help of two other apprentices, Canis and RealDealMagic. The Intro classes are ongoing and students can sign-up at anytime.
(01:00)
Rarecola:
Awsome. So let’s go more indepth today with all of the classes and their teachers.
Myself and Lisa host the Intro Class (more on that later on)
So to start with we’ll cover Matt87’s Class General Lucid Dreaming .
So Matt is currently on the Dreamviews Forum Staff not only as a DVA Professor but also as the Dream Guide Team Leader. His class covers the basics of lucid dreaming, (like the Intro class) but his a little more advanced as it includes a “Task Club” and regular competitions.
(1:40) (…) (3:09)
Lisa:
Yes, (Matt’s class) is really competitive; it’s really motivating for students who are trying to stick with something everyday and improve their skills. This gives them an extra jolt to try and compete with their fellow students. (3:18) to be continued.

Jason (Rarecola):
Yeah, I can imagine. It’s a really good idea that he came up with to implement this into his class because he notes down all of the scores and everything and people get really motivated to try and accomplish these specific things in their dreams, which is obviously great because motivation is key for lucid dreaming. It’s the number one way you can increase your chances of lucid dreaming
(3:45)
Lisa (OpheliaBlue):
All right, definitely, I just clicked on the (…)
He’s also got some advanced tasks for people who find the regular ones a little too simple:
Teleportation
Element manipulation
Advanced flying
Transformation
And there all on a point system based on the difficulty of the task. It’s really cool.
Jason (Rarecola):
Yeah, I really like the Team tasks as well:
Where you meet your Team Mate in a dream (4:18 - 5:12)
So if you do want to join Matt’s Class you can post a workbook just like the Intro Class and a lot of the other classes. You can also post in your Workbook with your progress. It’s a little more advanced than the Intro Class itself. So if you’re already into lucid dreaming, you’re having some lucid dreams but you want to generally improve your lucidity joining this class would be a great option if only for the Task Club and the competitions.
So if you want to join it it’s on dreamviews.com forward slash f 1 3 6
So now we can more on now to the next class which is with Sageous

Jason (Rarecola):
So now we can more on now to the next class which is:
The wake induced lucid dreams (WILD) class ( with Sageous).
His class is a little different because it doesn’t involve workbooks. He’s more about a group teaching aspect. It started with 7 sessions in total, spreading over 7 weeks where he basically covers (…) techniques for all forms of lucid dreaming, because he is focused on:
mental preparation,
awareness,
timing,
and all of these things can really increase your chances of mantra induced lucid dreaming (MILD) and dream induced lucid dreaming (DILD) as well. So I’d highly suggest checking this out.
(6:35) – (6:46)
Lisa (OpheliaBlue):
Absolutely, Sageous is just a compendium of lucid dreaming knowledge. He’s really the perfect guy for teaching this class because he knows so much about WILDing (wake induced lucid dreaming) and how to get people there. How to get them from A to B.
