I was just wondering about the weird colors we see when we are about to pass out.
Basically, your eyelids are closed over your eyes and you are looking right at the lids. Eventually, you see these swirly colors. What causes those colors? I am probably thinking too hard along the lines that something is somehow occuring physically with your eye sight and it actually has something to do mentally.
Does anyone have an idea?

I think ive heard that those colors are charges of brain activity, or some leftover charges in the retina while the brain is settling down and the eye is looking for light sort of. Now where was it that i read about that....

That is rather interesting.
I read somewhere that as your body begin to relax and experience some of the vibrations, you feel an electric shock going through. I have felt a burning serge through my body as it goes into feeling pins and needles.
I wonder if that is also linked to releasing leftover charges in your muscles.
