Ok, I'm really desperate now. About 2 weeks ago, in a lucid dream, I was walking through a nice town I like to visit in my dreams, and I saw a man staring at me through a window. He had almost no face, but still looked VERY angry. He had a suit on, and was quite thin. He resembles the SlenderMan, if any of you know him, but is only about 5 and a half feet tall. Well, he just stared at me as I walked, and I was so spooked, I just decided ton fly away. In a few days, in another dream (non lucid), I was talking to my friend, and over his shoulder, I saw the same man sitting down, and staring at me. I felt so afraid, I woke up. He has appeared in this same fashion in my dreams now, and about a week ago, I started to see him in real life. First, I was watching tv, and there is a window next to the couch, and about 50 feet out, I saw him standing next to a tree. He never moves, but just stares. I saw him about 3 more times, with the last being the scariest. I went to the kitchen, which has a window above the counter, and i went into the fridge. As I closed the door, I looked at the window, and he was staring right in. It startled me enough that I fell down, and crawled away. I can't sleep, and in always feel watched. What the he'll is going on? Someone help please! I don't wanna go nuts! |

If you're seeing things which only YOU see and others don't see I recommend going to a doctor, no joke. If you are also playing the 'Slenderman' video game a bit too much, you are going to see him in your dreams frequently because dreams are memories of the previous day being sorted. I would suggest cutting down on the time spent gaming and remember it's YOUR dream, if you want to will him to go away, he will. As for the encounters in real life, if you're not getting enough rest you could be hallucinating or it could just be tricks of the mind. I hope i helped, Just inbox me if you have any questions. |

I'm not sure how to help, but reading that story to my wife sure creeped her out! I know images from your dreams can manifest in reality if they're reoccurring and traumatizing, so I would say it's just a light hallucination. |

I actually started to see this man BEFORE discovering the slenderman. I thought about confronting him in my dreams, but I always get too afraid to get near him. Tonight, if I see him, I will try my best to destroy him, as I think it will help with real life as well. Thank you everyone, and I hope I can do something about this creature. And, no, I don't believe this creature to be "this man", or related to him in any way |

You have to defeat him in your dreams before he manifest his self into your real life,yes.....it's that deep. |

I'm afraid you're entirely bonkers!! |

I would also suggest not to fight him right away. |

Slenderman is and always was a FICTION that was created on a forum dedicated to making creepy Photoshop pictures some years ago... you can google and still find the original thread. Slender man is no more real than the Blair witch is. |

Alright guys, well, I had even scarier experiences with this man after my last post, but i finally got the guts to confront him when I saw him in my dream. I was lucid, and I walked through a mirror (one of my favorite things to do in a dream), and there he was, standing in a white void. We stared at each other for a few seconds before I finally sucked up my intense fear and said "Who are you, and what do you represent?" He didn't say anything, but there was an entity next to me, who was invisible, but I could hear him speak, "He is your fear of yourself. You fear that others will reject who you are, hence his lack of face, as you take on personalities of others". I stood there, soaking in everything. A knife materialized in front of me. The entity next to me said, "Eliminate him, and find yourself". The man with no face knelt down, and I walked to him and stabbed him in the back. He turned to black ash, which blew away. I woke up a few seconds after, feeling unbelievably good and refreshed, and had a "I don't give a damn what people think of me" attitude. So, I guess, this was a helpful thing in a way, although it was scary as hell. Thanks guys! |

You sir, are awesome. Your experience is somewhat disturbing as it affected your waking life but you got over it and I congratulate you for that. Hope you learned something very important : be yourself. Thank you for sharing this experience with us...shows just how awesome the human mind is. |

Your brain remembers every face you have seen in your lifetime and incorperates them into your dreams, so i would say that you have seen him before atleast, dont worry! |
|
If you meet him again in real life, please don't stab him. |
|
I read somewhere that the faces you see in your dreams are people you saw, know or just come across around the day, even those you just get a quick view on,because you cant actually create random faces.Im not sure if its true though. |

Thanks guys for all the support. I haven't seen him ever since I defeated him in my dreams! I'm relieved to finally be able to live my life without looking over my shoulder every second haha. |

Wow, that's a fascinating experience. I wonder what it was like to see that man in real life. Well, in any case, I'm glad that that is in the past for you now and it's amazing that you've overcame it. |
