      Is this possible? (Memory relatedf)

When I talked to my bro, he said "If I could lucid dream, I would go to a movie theater, grab a click remote, and watch a specific point of time in my life." So lucid dreamers, is this possible? can anyone test it?
The goal: Set a specific time period, one you remember vividly or not, and try watching it on tv, or a movie theater, ipod, mp4, or whatever.

Everything else in your dreams is created from your memory, so maybe you could. You would probably have to focus on the memory and have a good picture of how it looked, but it doesn't seem impossible.

Alright, and do you think this will be something you have to remember the memory in full detail, or do you think it would work for like really patchy/thoughts you hardly remember?

Probably both but if you don't remember it very well you might end up having false memories inserted to fill the gaps. I would assume it would be very similar to using hypnosis to view your memories.

      It's a cool idea, but I don't think it's that easy x. x

But it doesn't hurt to try

Long ago, I read a post where someone was able to bring back an almost forgotten memory from his/her childhood. He/she used to summon a kind of long hallway with several doors on the sides.

Of course it's possible. Even with memories that you barely remember.
I read of someone that summoned a member of his family that was long gone, and he couldn't even remember her face very well in the waking life, but in the dream her face was exactly like it was.

I think that it is possible to do such things, not only with people, but possibly even normal memories. Even if the memory isn't clearly in your consious thought, it should be in your subconsious, right? XD I don't know for sure so correct me if I'm wrong, but it makes sense
Come on, try, give your command
Then you'll see and understand that my heart's no longer here
To be swayed by even tears.
If I were to move again, everything would be in vain
Every aspect of my life would descend into the dark

Actually, it's one of my lucid goals by the moment.

It's not that it makes sense, but sense isn't really the subconcious thing.
