Occasionally I'll just to forget to on days. Anyone got any methods they use?
I, personally, like to preform a RC every time I have a major scenery change such as going inside or outside. This works well since you go out/in often throughout the day but not too often that you are overwhelmed by it. At the least you are probably going to work each day so that's one leaving home, one getting to work, one leaving work, and then one more coming home. Add in any lunch breaks or store visits and you have about a half dozen RCs which is a good number to preform, not too many but not too few.
I also used to preform a RC whenever I walked through a doorway but I found that this happens too often and causes for a lot of trouble. If you think you're up to it feel free to though it may cause a little bit of overload. It still got me lucid a couple times though :).
I just came up with a new method. I comment on YouTube videos all the time, and when I check for responses to my comments, I have to first go to the page that lists my private messages. The only private message I keep is one that I sent to myself. The subject is a question: Are you dreaming? Every time I see that, I think about it and try to float. Floating is my #1 dream sign. Sooner or later, I try it in my sleep. If I can float, I KNOW I am dreaming. Even if you don't check YouTube much, you can leave signs around your home and stuff, maybe make a painting with the question and put it on your wall. You can also make your watch a dream sign and a cue to do a reality check.
I recently got some sticky notes printed that say 'Am I dreaming?' on the front of them. I use these post it type notes when working, and so everytimes I write a note at work (which is when my RCs suffer the most as I'm busy with my computer) I RC.
I usually do a nose-plug RC immediately after getting out of bed for a WBTB, or first thing in the morning, just in case I ever get a FA. It is like second nature now so I have to put a bit of (mental) effort and thought into the check itself.
I have also got a 'spash screen' message which comes up on one of my mobile 'phones, which reads; "You are DREAMING!" when powered up.
I normally don't wear ANY sort of accessories (hat, necklaces, etc). So I had a dear friend of mine, who was nifty with crafts n stuff, make me a Dream Bracelet (what i call it anyway).
Its a simple thread bracelet with a few runic looking beads, and some metal runes n' stuff on it. I wear it as often as I can, and its the only accessory I wear, and only for dreaming purposes, and it has personal meaning. It hasn't really set into my dreams yet (I've had it for about a month) but it frequently reminds me to re-boot my All-Day-Awareness.
I also had one dream in the month that I've had it, where the bracelet fell off and wouldn't work to latch back on... I didn't become lucid  but now everytime I see it laying on something (IE, whenever I'm not wearing it) i do a RC. =P
Are you dreaming?
You could make this into a poster and put it on your wall.

Here are other possibilities.

I don't have a system, all of a sudden i just do a nose plug reality check without a thought before it, once you get to this point DILDs become easier because you can find yourself lucid without having to remember to do a RC.
I RC everytime I see your thread :alien:
Other than that, first time I remember to RC, I remind myself to not forget for rest of the day. You can have a few sticky notes on places you look at frequently.
Reality checks have never helped me that much. At least I don't think they have.
I used to RC but I stopped and it didn't hinder my lucid dreaming at all.

Here's an old wallpaper I used to have.
An noise that rings every hour. Although it is a little bothersome getting pestered every hour, I think I will up it to two hours.
I write " am i dreaming?" on my palm and front of my hand every morning, impossible to miss.
I am in school most of the time, and we switch classrooms every subject. So I practiced RCing everytime we moved rooms. It was nifty too because I am in school a lot, so I dream about school a lot too. At first I had a hard time remembering to RC when I enter the room, so I put a little rubber band on my bag. Everytime we sat down, I would always take off my bag and put it in front of me, and when I see the rubber band, it reminds me to RC. I dont use the rubber bands now though, because I can easily remember to do it already.
There are a lot of really good ideas in here. This is an important thread.
I do nose plugs alllllll the time but the situations I have in my dream are completely different that doing a nose plug is somehow irrelevant.
It's possible to have an LD every night right? I would LOVE that!
Definitely, I have lucid dreams every day now but mostly in the mornings. Not at night.
I write "RC" on my hand and whenever I see it I do a reality check. Or just set an alarm on a watch/phone.
