Give me motivation
I remember the first month or two of lucid dreaming. was such a desire, such anticipation for luciding. i am now more lax about the whole lucid dream thing, and ofcourse less motivated but still cruising, havnt had a lucid in ages, but keen to start picking it up again. is a more lax mindset better for it?

Lol.
Guess it depends on what works best for you. If being un-laxed creates stress for you, then it's probably best not to do that. Generally, doing some research is a good idea and can provide some motivation for what you're doing.

Lucid dreaming is awesome, keep at it. Once you have one, it will rekindle your interest.

Lucid dreaming is the biggest spiritual experience one can have. And even if your not spiritual you can't help but become it, I did ...
When you lucid dream super vividly for the first time you start to question your reality. A dream is as real and sometimes even more real than the physical world.
When you die in a dream you wake up. Does it mean that you dream when you die? I mean what is more real the physical or the dream?
My point is that lucid dreaming is a really philosophical journey.
You can always use the dream to do non-important stuff like killing people for fun, punching people you don't like, just like in real life (without sounding like a psychopath...).
But it's what you learn from experiences that matters the most, JUST like in real life.
In summary: A lucid dream is the coolest experience one can have. By the way I like your signature very inspiring/ motivating :D

It took me over 8 months to have 3 lucid dreams. Only 1 of which lasted significantly long and had decent lucidity and stability. Once i had that first TRUE lucid experience that was all the motivation I needed. It was such a mind blowing experience that I still cannot put into words to this day. It was as though I had finally experienced life in my opinion. After that, my drive was set on mastering lucid dreaming, which through years of practice I have now done. I have accomplished over 2000 lucids, and all that motivation came from one dream.
