Thread: Dreaming sober

I have only smoked weed one time, and that night and the night after I didn't remember any dream at all. So I think it's better to go without it when it comes to dreaming. But there are people who beg the differ so...

I would assume it would be common to dream like this since dreaming occurs during NREM and REM stages.

I think a better question would be "Is it common not to recall dreams while smoking pot?"

Then yes, it might be common, but I have never taken drugs and alcohol before in my life. I do know that some people are able to get more vivid dreams when smoking pot, but it really depends on the tolerance level, or if you're just now coming back from a week of not smoking it at all, and having sudden bursts of realization that make you go "WOAH."

It's so common, that 5 seconds on google would prevent this thread from existence.

I have first hand experience and have talked with other members. I am totally sober now. I started LDing about 25 years ago. So, back in the day I was in my late teens and early twenties, and a college student. I was just as you describe yourself. I experimented both on and off, to get first hand knowledge. I have 100% with out any doubt in my mind, determined,first hand that pot ruins your dreams. It is like night and day. It may be too big a sacrifice for you at the moment, but I promise that using it AND trying to LD is going to sewriously handicap you. It is still possible, in the same way that say throwing darts can be done after drinking 12 beers.
