Need help telling if this was a lucid dream or not.

Here is my dream.
I was in a hallway walking with people then all of the sudden I stopped. I started to look around then I did the nose plug RC a couple of times. I realized I was dreaming so I teleported to an area with a bunch of white clouds and started walking around.

That's all I remember from the dream. The thing is I didn't feel like I was in control. It was more like I was watching this happen just like a non-lucid dream. I'm not sure if this counts as a lucid dream or not. If this counts then this will be my first
lucid dream.

As long as you were aware that you were dreaming during the dream then you were lucid dreaming, as you progress you will be able to control it more and more.

Yes it was! Even if for only a split second you realized you were dreaming, it is considered to be a lucid dream. Lucid news and control are seperate things. Control comes with time, experience, and practice. You can also control a dream but not be lucid. It goes both ways.

Sounds to me like it was and then somewhere towards the end you lost a bit of lucidity, hence the losee of control and watching instead of controlling.

Keep it going and you'll get it in no time :)

You can repeat your intentions every night before bed, to help remind you what you want to do once you get lucid. Like they said, your control will get better in time. :D
