A kind of specific question...or two.

Hey dreamers, I have a question which is kind of specific.....

I have noticed recently that everytime i become lucid, i loose the connection to my previous dream, as in within my lucid context i simply dont remember it. Maybe upon awakening i remember how it was I became lucid, but when im actually lucid one of the following things happens.
1. I realise im dreaming and dream scene begins to fade, therefore i spin to new location and forget previous dream

or

2.I remain in the same enviroment, however all events, people and circumstances are seemingly erased from my memory.

I hadnt cared about this previously, due to the fact that I quite enjoy being in a peacefull dream enviroment and going where i please without any hinderance. However, today i thought to myself, wouldnt it be nice to be lucid whilst in the midst of the randomness that normally acompanies my (non lucid) dreams.
I would like for example to confront these police that keep chasing me, they are often a trigger to tell me im dreaming, however on becoming lucid, i forget they were ever there!

So my question is, do any of you expereinced dreamers have experience with this phenomenem, and have you developed any methods to remain in the same dream.
If you have...... Is it possible for one to also allot time to going through their stability routine? One of the reasons i enjoy my peacefull enviorment is because it gives me time to stabalize the dream, often a problem for me in the first 30 seconds of entrance into a lucid.

Well that sounds interesting. Never happened to me. The dream remains and I usually recall one or more minutes before becoming lucid. I continue from that location. Will be interested in what others say.

Sorry mate, I don't think I can help you with this.
Personally I can't remember anything I want to once I become lucid. New priorities always arise after I become lucid, often it's sex, exploring or just straight-up using superpowers to control my world.
In most cases I forget about what led me up to the lucidity, what the dream was all about. Unless I'm in a critic situation, like being chased by a monster or the world is collapsing.

Hmm now that I think about it, I usually can't remember the events before I got lucid too. I mean of course WHILE I am lucid, though I can remember it fine when I wake up. To be honest, I always just thought it kinda gets "drowned out" once I get lucid because of the hype of having been lucid, so I just usually think about what's happening at the moment. Whenever I try to think of the previous events, I end up losing lucidity because my focus is shifted somewhere else.

As for the stabilization, I guess you could take a few seconds to stabilize. I suggest not focusing too much on stabilizing though, because the more you think you need to stabilize, the more your mind will destabilize the dream to give you a reason to stabilize it. If that makes sense.
