Is This Sleep Paralysis?
I've been teaching myself how to go into sleep paralysis, I feel like I'm in it but not sure, I'll describe it to you. My body starts feeling heavy, tingles a bit (Not like a lack of blood circulation) and feels somewhat numb. Though I don't think I'm completely paralyzed, I don't check by trying to move cause I don't want my body to wake up, though I was able to move my finger but it was hard cause it felt so heavy. Also right before my body goes into sleep paralysis my mind almost falls asleep and then I think my body goes into sleep paralysis and my mind all sudden feels very awake, though its weird I feel I'm half awake almost dream.

I would not spend time worrying about getting SP. Spend your time just trying to fall asleep naturally, while staying slightly aware. Do this by repeating the same phrase over and over, or counting, or visualizing one thing. The trick is to limit how much you are thinking, but not drift entirely off into normal sleep. Read this thread about SP, http://www.dreamviews.com/f157/sleep...lained-136925/ and hopefully you will see that SP is not a needed part of WILD. Thinking about it during the WILD attempt is just holding you back.

Feeling of heaviness, tingles, floatiness, any kind of sensations or halluciantions are not SP. Those are part of normal falling asleep process.
SP happens after you fall asleep and you can't move at all when in SP.
Good news - you don't need SP to lucid dream. Some people do notice having SP, and that's fine. If you don't, as most of the people don't, that's perfectly OK as well.
SP is not a goal. Lucid dream is a goal and falling asleep is a goal. Please check out this WILD (Sageous) tutorial, that will explain the WILDing process in great detail. Happy dreams :alien:

Thanks for the reply and the link.
The reason I've been trying SP is because over the past year the only time I could ever lucid dream is when I did polyphasic sleep. I've tried so many different methods of lucid dreaming with no luck. I can get into SP when I go to bed, and now I want to learn to go from SP to LD.
