This idea might have emerged before (Tell me if it has), but I considered it independently. My idea is that remembering my dream goals once Lucid is an arduous task and I should lessen the load a bit.
If I design a park in waking life and associate my goals with it, it can become a dream testing place where I can visit for the purpose of dream control. My idea is to have multiple sections to facilitate different aspects of dream control. If I design it in waking life it may become consistent to dreams, and when I see it I will know I'm dreaming.
Pending Tests:
- Element Control
- Scene Control
- DC control
- Getting into a bed and sleeping/dreaming within the dream (Inception anyone?)
Complete Tests:
- Flying
- Mirrors and how the brain mutates the body's appearance in dreams
In conclusion, this proposed idea will help further understanding of physics and dreams.
How does this concern you?
Well, if you would like I would ask you to post on this thread a Sandbox workbook. When you have an LD to spare, pop into your sandbox and start testing things on your list. If the idea kicks off, we might even get a forum category dedicated to individual sandbox workbooks. While workbooks and DVA classes are a great idea, and a truly original and helpful concept in themselves, I think research could be undertaken as well, so that we can share results and increase our oneironautical knowledge.
So what the heck, why not jump on this crazy conceptual bandwagon!
