WILD help!
So I have been trying to lucid dream for a while, then I gave up, then I found this website so I am back! I have been focusing on the WILD technique. I have experienced sleep paralysis a bunch of times and also get the helociacions ( not sure if that's how you spell it but I'm only 12 haha,) The problem for me is I only am I'm the helociacions for what seems like a few seconds and then I wake up. Throughout the night when I try to lucid dream I easily go through 10-15 of them and not once am I succesful. Any tips on not waking up as well as any tips for someone new to lucid dreaming? Thanks!

Well, some of what you posted is incoherent, but I'll try my best to give an adequate response :cheeky:. A tip for WILDing is once you get to the hallucination stage, try to remove all focus from your physical body. There is a whole sub-forum about WILDing under Attaining Lucidity that should give you some great advice. I don't know how extensive your knowledge is about learning to lucid dream, but when performing a reality check, make sure you understand that in a dream you will believe that you are awake just as much as if you actually are. This means that you really need to look around you and consider the fact that you could possibly be in a dream. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :split:

Hi there. Do you mean hallucinations? Those are the things you see or hear or feel, etc. while you are in the half-asleep/half-awake state. It's pretty normal, and when you're trying to WILD, it has been recommended that you don't pay attention to them. Please check this out: http://www.dreamviews.com/f156/wild-...-noise-132284/
Maybe you keep waking up because you start to think too much about the hallucinations. That's just a guess, though. There are tons of different ways to WILD, and here are some of them:

You can also check out the WILD subforum for other WILD-related threads: Wake Initiated Lucid Dreams (WILD)
Also, a tip: do not aim for Sleep Paralysis! You can achieve WILD without it.
Good luck!
