Been very busy so I haven't been trying to LD recently... however...
I have been quite busy with life at the moment, and I have been forgetting to do RC's and generally thinking about LD'ing.
One weekend, I had some spare time to lie in and I tried to LD... I am not sure if it worked because I have only really had an LD from doing a hand RC - but in this dream I do remember becoming lucid (I think) but without my RC.
It was a long dream in which I wasn't lucid and I do not remember much, but I distinctly remember knowing I was in a dream somehow and I stopped my "dream story" to tell the DC that I am dreaming and I could fly. So I began to lift off the floor and hover about 15 foot high... I then distinctly remember thinking that the surroundings of this dream were so vivid and had a moment of euphoria. After that I continued with the dream non-lucid and do not remember much.
My question is: Did I actually obtain lucidity here, because I can remember this part of the dream so well (I haven't written it down and I can still remember - when it happened last week) - but I was confused when I woke up because I didn't do my normal RC. Is it possible I just spontaneously obtained lucidity mid-dream without an RC because I was thinking about it while having a long lie in, waking up between dreams?
- it's strange because I know I was euphoric taking in the dream's vividness, but I've never had a dream where I have obtained lucidity without an RC and then lost lucidity again... I generally wake up after an LD and this is why I am questioning it.
It just seems so surreal - if you know what I mean... I know I did dream and feel it... but it still feels like it never happened... like a dream... lol.. Did I become lucid, or did my dream "fake" a lucid attempt? I know it's hard to answer because you wasn't there, but I am curious to see if other people have experienced this before.
Cheers :)
