Well, depends on the type of survey but yeah. :)
That would be a pretty weird machine if it would work. Can you imagine burning them on a DVD and replaying it on your tv when you're awake? I think with the full clarity of being awake, some of the things we do and say in a normal dream would be rather confusing or funny.
From the machine I would have a 3.5 mm jack socket, or a 21 pin Scart lead connected to the back of my head (a la Matrix style) where the visual cortex is, so I could replay my dreams after, especially the sex scenes. :)
