Those of you who consistenly lucid dream, with full awareness and active senses, when you wake up in the morning do you sometimes see massive spiders on your ceiling?
Weird question I know, but I'd love to know.

Weird question, but I think it happened to me when I weird enough woke up and was still in SP, creeped the fuck out of me x) maybe the same happened to you @ SP and thant you got some HH?
Woah that would freak me out
I have heard about people changing there HH though, and I would try this other than I can't get in to sleep paralysis even if I try. The only time I have had sleep paralysis was when I couldn't fall asleep and when I tried to get up to get some water I couldn't move, frankly it scares the sugar out of me. But thankfully I was facing the wall and anyway I wasn't expecting anything plus I got a short non vivid lucid dream out of it so I'm not complaining :)
Thanks for the intreasting question
When you are in a dark place or when you are just waking up you normally see dark splotches around. Your mind normally tries to process them as something and normally comes up with things like spiders. This is where children get their fear of spiders from.
Also:
If you are already afraid of spiders it might have been SP since you have HH during that. If you are afraid during SP, you will see fearful things.
A lot of people in this thread report spider hallucinations upon waking up.
I get those. But it's actually being caused by an irregularly shaped dark spot in the middle of your vision from your visual cortex still being partially asleep. Sometimes your half asleep brain hallucinates that dark blotch into a spider because that's the closest primal image it looks like.
My mom has also complained about seeing spiders after waking up. It's just a hypnopompic hallucination, nothing to worry about.
I have seen spiders twice! Happened when waking up in the middle of the night. I had to turn on the light to make sure nothing's there.
It's the only times I've ever had hallucinations. And I've never had sleep paralysis!
This happens to me all the time, only I see them in my bed. I also jump out of my bed and freak out at like 3 in the morning. xD
I've never seen that, and hope it never happens.
It isnt too bad if you are in a dreaming mindset and aren't afraid of spiders. :P
In real life spiders don't really bug me, but every time I see them in dreams they're huge, extremely hairy, and leave huge webs everywhere. They really freak me out in dreams but not in real life.
The spiders. They want me to tap dance.
Thank you all for your input! :):)
