since i went back to bed during a false awakening does that mean i was having a dream inside a dream

title says it all.
also the false awakenings kept happening over and over at least 4 or 5 times i thought i was really awake, but i would just go back to bed... i know i wasn't really awake because thinking back. i don't keep a mini fridge in bed next to me lol, and also in one of the false awakenings there was really loud music playing in my bedroom.. i don't sleep with music on at all.

they started occuring after i did a DEILD (dream chain) last night. after i finally, REALLY, woke up.. i was a little freaked out. anyone else experience something similar to this?

Yeah, it happens, but there is no such thing as a dream inside of a dream. Just dream scene changes. A lot of times what happens in dreams is based on expectations, so if you are expecting to wake up you can easily have a FA. Just do a reality check when you wake up.

I had one of these last night. I woke up from a lucid dream in a false awakening, and DEILDed back in. I did this multiple times before deciding to wake up from the lucid. When I woke up irl, I realised I had kept waking up in a false awakening. It's nothing to worry about, It happens to me often.

Well, sometimes it really feels like you had a dream inside a dream. I have had it happen often where I will wake up but I'm not in my real bed in my real house and then I will proceed to tell some DC about the dream I just had and I will continue in a fairly vivid dream that I will eventually wake up from. My FA never confuse me that much because I'm never in my real house.

Frik it, I am always telling DCs about my dreams too. One time I woke up and both my sisters were in my room. I told them that I had to go back to sleep to fight against Bane because he had been attacking people. I laid down and fought Bane and won this time. :/ Didn't realize that I was in a dream, but knew that I should be stronger than him for some reason.

ahhh.. you are right.. i was expecting to wake up!

and yeah, i've totally described a dream i just had to a dream character during a false awakening, and then woke up for real and then described what just happened IRL to the same person!

sometimes i do remember to do RC's when i wake up, but i have had them fail in false awakenings.... what tipped me off was when i went to the bathroom there was a parking meter where the toilet should be.

Did you pee all over the parking meter?

I have had non lucid dreams where I will get kind of muddle headed and pee in the strangest places, like it's normal. In the sink, a potted plant, etc. I don't know what that says about me.

hahaha.. it was a while ago.. i don't think so.. i'm pretty sure that upon seeing it and the realization that i wasn't really awake sent me into actual waking life. i'm always afraid when i pee in dreams that i will pee the bed. but luckily haven't done that since i was a very small child. whew!
