Using Lucid Dreaming for Violin Practice

I had an idea. If I practiced violin during my lucid dreams that would help me become more aware and improve more in violin. This could work for anything. You could practice a sport in your lucid dreams or practice even something like cooking. You could argue that this wouldn't work because everything would turn out different than waking life, but I disagree. I find that dreams are very good at pointing out critical errors that you fail to notice in WL. Anybody want to try this out?

The only problems is that it might be hard to remember what you want to do after you go lucid.

Practicing a specific song would not work very well in a dream since it will likely be different or you won't remember it when you wake up. However, anything that requires muscle memory (like runs on a musical instrument) can be improved through dreams. While you're sleeping your brain is still trying to send signals to your muscles to tell them to move. These signals obviously don't cause your muscles to actually move but they are still sent out by the brain. If you repeatedly do a task in a dream your neurons will still fire as if you were doing it in reality, hence improving the muscle memory for that task. So, while you may not be able to practice that entire Frescobaldi, you can still work on the runs and repeated melodies it includes.
