CILD and other obscure methods...

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has ever experienced or tried a CILD (that is Character Induced LD). How was it? Did it work? My main reason for this post isthat I want to use it. Usually, I can gain extremely strong lucidity in which it feels nearly identical to reality, but then sometimes I lose it when travelling to another dream scene. I want to explore the "oneiro" but I lose lucidity when I travel in a dream for some reason. I want to have a character that I DO NOT KNOW IN WAKING LIFE to remind me that I am dreaming while I explore. My main concern is that when I see someone I know, if I am only half-lucid, I will lose all lucidity because I either believe it's a mutual dream or that the person is truly empathic. I would also like to explore some lesser known methods of dreaming if anyone has some that work...
