Congrats on your LD! I don't read DJs here on DV. Maybe I should start though ;)
Hey, that's awesome! So I take it rest of them are WILDs? Did you get the exhilarating happy feeling when you realized?
Yeah, so far WILD/WBTB was the only successful methods for me, until now~ :cheeky:
And yep, i got that feeling when realized.
@MarineRecon You should, dream journals are very often pretty interesting to read, and reading them daily seems to increase chance of noticing dream signs or just going spontaneously lucid like i did.
hummm, now i it makes more sense to me why some guys post their dreams here...:D
Checker666, congrats , must be nice to DILD , but the actual experience of lucid dreaming is same no matter how you get there, right ? i have read that WILD seems more vivid perhaps because you dont fall asleep( but yah i believe DILD must give you the feeling of achievement and sucess )
is it correct to say that wild is an incited dream, while DILD is natural and spontaneous ?
They are different in some ways, but similar in other ways. WILD for me always started as FA in my room(for the most part) for example, but this DILD started in the different place so it was indeed quite different experience in this case. And yeah, it's success for me since i seem to have problem of not falling asleep on my WILD naps, it's always good to have alternative method working when main one is not working for some reason. :content:
And you actually fall asleep during the WILD too, you just start the dream lucid or very close to being lucid on success(depending on how successful keeping the consciousness went and on whether it's FA or not) , dunno about naturality question though. :uhm:
Congratulations! :) I'm the opposite of you, find DILD easy and WILD a challenge. But nevertheless I envy you :P
From what i know some people misunderstanding WILD as dreaming while not falling asleep, while the real goal of WILD is to actually fall asleep while keeping enough of consciousness/awareness to not fall asleep unconsciously, so the dream starts lucid(or something like that). :zzz:Quote:
