Something strange I have noticed...

I used to be completely into lucid dreaming. When I wasn't asleep or at school, I generally was researching things over it or browsing the forums. I was having about 1 lucid dream every 2 weeks or so, using DEILD or DILD. I decided to take a break and do some other activities. Looking at my last dream journal entry, that break apparently started in august. Since then, I have stopped doing things to have lucid dreams, such as writing down my dreams or doing reality checks.

Over that time I would still have a lucid dream here or there. But for about 2-3 weeks though, I've noticed something rather strange... I'm having lucid dreams almost every night now. I just become aware during the dream, and from what I can tell, it isn't triggered by a specific event (such as reality checks/dream signs) Only a few nights have I remembered to stabilize them(then they last for up to 5 minutes), otherwise they are over within about 15 seconds. I'm not making any extra effort to have them, they just sort of happen. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Or perhaps is there an explanation to this?

Did you maybe get into habit of paying more attention to your surroundings while you were practicing? And maybe now it's paying off. Awareness is the most important thing for LDing, right next to intent. Just a guess. Either way, that's cool. Happy dreams:alien:
