Ten minutes. I took a nap and had it. :P
I stopped thinking about LDing for a long time because I got married. I went back to it a year later. It took me 5 weeks then. They have gone up exponentially since. Check out my DJ for how much. Gotta stay committed though, or they won't.
About 3 weeks. It slowly built up until it was 3-4 a week. Then I took a break, came back and built back up. Repeat that last part a couple times and now I'm currently at about 1/week.
I should add that I myself am at 9 days with no lucids.
I did however 2 nights ago have a regular dream where I was reading (what was supposedly a quote from an earlier writing) about lucid dreaming. I even realized that I didn't remember reading about this before but for some reason I just figured I must have missed it. I even remember what it said - that lucid dreaming should be avoided as a form of escapism (which I don't actually believe at all and was skeptical about in the dream). Then I had some other dream after that. When I woke up I was in disbelief how I didn't think while reading it, this is a dream right now! Thought it was pretty funny how my subconscious was trying to dissuade me too. I wonder if something like this means I'm close to a real lucid dream.
Well, actually i got first successful WILD pretty fast, i think it was my 2nd or 3rd attempt. :yumdumdoodledum:
I have an WILD at least once a week currently, though when i had no problems with WILD napping i had 2-5 per week for a few weeks.
A few days after trying I got one.
I make an attempt each night to have a lucid dream, so far this month I had 4, in my lifetime I had 6
