do we just go into deeper sleep? Do strange things happen? what?
Most of the time I just wake up lol
But strange things do happen from time to time, and you might just wake up somewhere else different than before. Or maybe Inception is more truth than fiction, and there are layers of dreams and sleep. There really isn't a for sure law that tells you what will happen or not if you sleep in a dream - just try it.
There's a section in ETWOLD about it.
Apparently, one of my non-lucid dreams was about attempting to WILD, it did not resulted in lucidity but there was scene change and some weird sensations.
Dunno about doing that in a lucid dream though.
I would imagine the only two options are either waking up or exiting one dream into another. Has anyone ever gone to sleep in one LD and woken up into the same dream/same place as if it was waking life?
i haven't fallen asleep in a lucid dream but i have in regular dreams, i've also been knocked out which was similar. the ones that i can remember, i just had a dreamless sleep (in the dream) and woke up later and continued with it, same with being knocked out.
Don't try it you'll die! :wtf2:
Hehe no usually for me I just wake up in another place either by a FA or me being aware of waking up there. Since you expect to wake up you will dream of waking up.
There is a fun illustration of Lucidipedia of just this: Advanced lucid dreaming: part 10 - YouTube (around 05:46)
Sweet dreams
I have false awakened before, then gone back to my bed in my dream. I fell asleep then woke up in the order of the dream layers. idk if its really a dream within a dream but it can be treated like one if you want it to.
If you sleep in your lucid dream you can try to WILD and enter the second dream level.
I had a dream a while back where I was dreaming and woke up from the dream in my bathroom thinking I was in reality, when I was actually still in the dream. So it could be possible that you could dwell into another dream or something when you sleep in a lucid.
whatever you think would happen. whether you've thought about it beforehand or not is irrelevant.
I think it might actually make you go into a deeper sleep, thus prolonging dream time. I have gone to sleep in a lucid dream, had a dream, and woke back up in the same world I was dreaming in from before. I highly recommend trying it.
