Asking your subconscious

So this is a re-make of a old thread of mine, I chose to ask the question again as lucid dreaming knowledge has completely changed!

Have you ever asked your subconscious or a dream character to, for example: "Show me my most worst fear" or "Show me a time where I felt really happy in my life" or questions similar to those in which the answers are not known to your conscious mind.

For example lets say you are interested in what makes you most happy, or you want to recall a moment in your life which you were fond of but have forgotten, or you want to remember a dead relative who's face you have forgotten.

I'm interested in the idea that you can ask yourself such questions and get any sort of reply, which brings up puzzling thought on who is exactly replying and where is this information that is not known by you stored.

I'm not very good at Lucid dreaming so I cannot test this, so I would love if anyone could try out these ideas and report back with what happened.

Awww don't be sad! I'm sure people wre just quite busy, what with work and school starting up again :D

I'll try to remember to ask things next time I'm lucid. In fact, I'm gonna go and make a list of questions I'm gonna ask. Will report if i get anything!

This should be possible. LaBerge mentions it in EWLD. You shouldn't need to find someone to ask, you can just yell out loud: "Show me something awesome" or whatever it might be you want to see :)

I once announced that I would like to speak with my subconscious. A hillbilly appeared before me, and asked for further direction, as he said, there are many parts of one's subconscious.

Though this was a lucid dream, and I had very good dream recall immediately after waking up, the details did not hold, and I found that after an hour I had lost almost all of my recollection of the specific details. I do remember that I asked for three parts of my subconscious. One of them was humor. One of them was good. One of them was evil. I remember that humor was inappropriately dressed for being anything humor. I remember that good was very plainly dressed. And evil was wearing a white suit and tie. I asked them each a question. I remember that humor and good gave very amazing answers to my questions, but I do not remember what they were. I also remember that my question for evil was "What is one example of something that would be evil?" And I woke up on his answer, because it was so off the wall. I remember that it had something to do with a cat, but made no sense whatsoever, and was not something that can be considered universally evil.

Though my dream recall was poor, and I could almost call it a wasted attempt, I did receive some good insight from the experience. It seems to me that, at least in the beginning, I may have actually been speaking with my subconscious, in a manner of speaking. I believe that the evil side of my subconscious was not genuine. Perhaps I have no evil side, and I am, in fact, a perfect angel. :)

I always wanted to do it.
Once I was at school in a lucid and I asked my subconscious something, but it was really noisy around there and I thought that it probably wouldn't hear me and I'll try some other time >__>.

You are correct.
However, if you had thought that it probably would hear you, you would have still been correct.

The rules of a lucid dream are defined by you, and your conviction.

If I remember, I'll ask that second question next time I'm lucid.

I will have a lucid dream tonight, and I will do that. Don't deny it.

I prefer to manifest with doors, I told myself that when I open the door I want the room to be filled with everything from my childhood. Inside was a room with things stacked everywhere, I recognized everything in there, most of it I hadn't thought of in years. The best part of the dream was that I remembered the details (colors) of my crib and asked my mom. She confirmed what I had seen was indeed my crib from when I was a baby. Very awesome.

The door idea seems very good! I shall try it when I get a lucid dream (which is very rare as I suck at lucid dreaming :p)
