Hey there Tradl3s.
MILD is the technique I've used for months, and it's really up to you when it comes to the mantras. You need to find words that bring meaning to you and remind you to be in a certain mindset. Some common ones people use are "I'm dreaming", which isn't too bad. As long as you really believe in what you're saying, then it can carry over into your dream and indeed remind you. A mantra I often use is "pay attention!", note that there is an exclamation point. I find that my mantras are much more successful if I add some emotion to it, as it somehow induces that "you HAVE to do this!" mindset once I'm dreaming, if that makes sense. I personally like using mantras in the form of commands, since they attract my attention more.
But yeah, try to keep it concise. You can do something like: "When I open my eyes, I'm in a dream." or simply "Reality check now."
Good luck!
You might try a visual mantra.... visualize seeing a road sign that reads ' You are dreaming' .
Hi Trad.
I'd like to just emphasis the point that paige made.
The important factor here, as you can see in bold, is what is meaningful to you. Perhaps you have read MILD tutorials and they have given suggestions as to what you can use as a mantra, however, it does not effectively mean one set phrase will work. Your words are there to guide your intent, your will to lucid dream.Quote:

You might want to check out Reddit for this one. This user is doing a 50 day MILD 'challenge'. He sets up mantras for each night, one for those who don't remember their dreams, one for those who remember their dreams and know what their dream signs are and one for those who already achieved lucidity multiple times. It might be worthwhile to check that out. The latest entry is day 6, but since that post is 19 hours old a new one will probably be posted soon.
I hope that was somekind of a help to you. Good luck :)
Sorry if I broke any rules with the post above, this is actually my first post on DV.
