Hey there again. As I've just begun this Lucid Dreaming thing, I have many and many doubts. I try to look around the forum (I've read thousands of threads so far), but some doubts are very resilient. So expect hearing a lot from me for the next few days :p |

So, analysing the first and only time I had an LD so far, I came to realize that I performed a WBTB by accident. More than that, I can also see it had some more unplanned MILD in it. I woke up, had breakfast, thought about watching the pilot episode of a new series, fantasized a little about the series' content, felt too tired and decided to go back to sleep. Then I had a lucid dream in wich I was a character of the mentioned series. |

I think it's best you do the WBTB + MILD. It may seem like it takes more effort, but it's going to prove to have more practical results for you. There's a Lucid Dreaming Survery somewhere that I'm too lazy to find, but generally, WBTB is king for combining other lucid dreaming techniques. |

Well, if anyone is also struggling with visualizations, here is a thread I have just found. It is insanely helpful: http://www.dreamviews.com/attaining-...fectively.html |

Hey! I think that the doing too much applies only to trying too muchat start without sufficient info. As long as techniques don't go against each other and you are doing them right, there is no problem. I would recommend only one or two new techniques at a time since you want to know which one was working to keep and refine. |

Well, my work is pretty much no brain functions going, so I just daydream most of the day. If you catch yourself daydreaming, try visualizing during that. Take yourself from where you are to the day dream. Some days I do it 10 times, sometimes I just do it all day long. Depends on how long it has been since I last LDed and how much I want one. I do it every night for about 20-30 minutes though. Just laying in bed fantasizing (you may call me a dreamer...) is really all it is, but I try to get the sensation of being lucid. If you know what a lucid dream feels like, this is good, because it is almost like having an LD and getting more exp for having one, without having one. |
