      Temporary Blindness Post Lucid Dream?!

So, i have been experiencing this strange phenomena where i am temporarily blind or my vision is still synced with my dream vision after a lucid dream. For example, i managed to have a DEILD this morning. Lasted a long time, but the dream started to fade and i started to feel myself laying in bed but not fully awake. So i try to open my eyes, and i either cant see anything or i see a huge blur of the outline of my room.

Any else experience this? I think it might be, im trying to wake myself up in the midst of a lucid dream and it takes a while to transition my senses from my dream body to physical body

Do you feel it poses a problem? I've never had that before, it sounds unusual.

I've experienced that a couple times. I'd be half blind or hear sounds in my dreams incorporate with the physical world. I always just attributed it to hypnopompic hallucinations though, maybe that's it?

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

I agree with paigeyemps. I think you are not fully awake yet.
