      Visualization picture link

I'm new here and would like to know if there is picture of something here that would help with visualization? Like looking at the photo and closing your eyes and picturing it in your mind? Is there a picture here that can help you do this?

Best thing to visualize is tomething you are very familiar with. Like your childhood room, your moms kitchen, your school. Place, where you know the sounds, the smells, the feel it gives you.

If you watch something before sleep, that leaves big impact on you, that impresses you, there is a good chance it will be in your dream.

If you can't visualize something clearly (most of us can't), just think about it in your mind. As you get closer to falling asleep, it will become easier to picture it and some dreams may start in the theme of what you are thinking about. You don't need to see the object/place clearly, just think about it.

If this is for WILD, you can just start thinking about your previous cool dream. That will do the trick.

Indeed something that intrigues your mind, something that is interesting enough to start an effortless visualization is the best to use. For me this is usually a memory of a debate or a great time with friends, or like gab said even a previous dream. If a visualization isn't working for you try another, it won't harm your progress.

I like visualizing the dreams from yesterday for MILD. It improves recall, is really easy to visualize, and gives you a chance of being lucid because of the time spent thinking about dreams. I also visualize myself becoming lucid in previous dreams that I have become lucid and all the dreams from the previous night that I didn't become lucid in as well. This, I feel, makes my mind think that "becoming lucid" is something it does regularly and should keep it up.

If you are just trying to visualize while performing WILD, then I would recommend anything easy for you to visualize. If something proves difficult, then go onto the next thing till you find something comfortable that keeps your attention.

I recommend this: Browsing Drawings & Paintings on deviantART

Just browse through those and find something you like, and let it fuel your imagination. Then try and visualize it. I can spend hours browsing through these some days.
