How Can I Get Back into Lucid Dreaming?
I have been into lucid dreaming for several years now, with fairly limited success. I do believe that I can do a lot better at it as I keep trying.
Unfortunately, high school and having to wake up especially early to an alarm without being able to write in a dream journal messed that up for me, but now that it's summer again Im ready to get back into lucid dreaming.
This morning I had a short lucid dream, the first one in several months. I have mostly been using the same DILD technique with reality checks since I started LDing, and I get very infrequent lucid dreams.
How can I get back into lucid dreaming this summer and start improving? I am willing to use at least some of my massive amounts of free time to commit to lucid dreaming, and I have motivation, I just don't know how to go about trying new techniques. For example, how long do you have to try a technique to see if it is effective for you or not? What techniques work most often and produce the best results? Should I even be focusing so much on techniques?
As you can see, I'm a bit overwhelmed with all this information. Where can I start to keep the momentum going from last night and get into lucid dreaming again? :?
