Benefits of reality checks?

Okay, so when I first started practicing I did reality checks throughout the day, I've successfully induced lucidity through finger through hand, nose pinch, and time check. Lately I've been using more of a awareness check such as of where I'm at what's around me and is it logical, and still check the time to see if it changes. I had four lucids in a row this morning, and I'm pretty positive it was basically wbtb, and wild as it occured as I awoke after each dream and went back to sleep with intention, although every lucid I didn't reality check I just knew because obviously I was just in my bed. The last few dreams after the lucids, I just forgot I was dreaming and randomly remembered but by then I was fully awake. So anyways my question is how would the other reality checks besides awareness benefit me? Or if I came off as confusing please let me know and I'll do my best to rephrase.

Well, the point of reality check is to increase awareness in first place and question reality, which is what makes us lucid, not reality checks themselves do that. Physical action is not important, mindset is what it is at. :)
You don't really need to use physical reality checks if you don't want to, looking around for dream signs, remembering how you got there or trying safe dream control would be an examples of non-physical reality checks. ;)

Fair enough, I just wasn't sure if I should do the physical ones if the awareness training is working for me.

What do you mean by safe dream control?

Something like trying to activate dream control, like "If this was a dream, I could levitate" or trying to change some object into something else, but without actually using it for anything for safety reasons(No jumping off the buildings trying to fly!), though you still need to believe that you might be dreaming. :zzz:
