Was this a lucid dream
Hey everyone I'm new to this. So don't judge the way I write this its kind of hard to explain I've had a dream journal for 15 days.so I woke up at like 7:09am and went right back to bed I fell asleep and I only seen my hands rest was pitch black I heard talking like. Do a reality check and do u want to lucid dream and I seen a youtuber who talks about lucid dreaming then I did a reality check and was in the.dream.I was in my house I tryed flying but couldn't I rubbed my hands together and the picture got more clearer I went out side started driving a black car I caused a accident and went back home I tryed to spawn a slice of pizza but it didn't work I tryed flying again and it worked so I wanted to go outside to try but when I opened the door this Guy walked in I shook his hand like I knew him.I said hey you know this is my dream right and he said no then I started yelling at him and I said random stuff like you know this is my dream this is like inception you know what that is or a parallel universe.he looked at me so confused then out of no where I kicked him he attacked me and punched me and I woke up I can't understand how I got beat up by a DC well I just wanted to know if that was a lucid dream it didn't quite feel like reality like people say but it felt different like I was in control and more vivid

I think it was a lucid dream. Generally if you were aware that it was a dream, then you were lucid. However, as someone recently pointed out in a thread on this forum, it is possible to have a non-lucid dream about being lucid, in such a dream you would not really have any awareness, it would be more like watching a movie of someone else having a lucid dream, and you would not experience that "aha!" moment of realization that it is a dream. The only reason why I bring this up is because you are asking in this thread whether you were lucid, which makes me wonder whether you have reason to doubt that you were. However, as long as you really were aware that this was a dream, then that is all that is needed for a lucid dream. Awareness and control can be low or high, vividness may or may not be higher, and logic may or may not be faulty, none of those are needed to make it count as a lucid dream. However, the awareness of the dream state is needed. I hope that I have just managed to explain this, and not make it more confusing - if I made it confusing, please disregard, and wait for another reply. :)
